Location: Valencia, CA

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction estimating? Join our team as a Structural Estimator and play a key role in our dynamic company. You'll be based in our Valencia office and report directly to our Chief Estimator. Here's what you'll be doing:

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive project proposals.
  • Coordinate and compile design documents for accurate bids.
  • Perform material take-offs for concrete and formwork.
  • Apply pricing and labor factors to materials and equipment.
  • Develop Critical Path Durations Schedules.
  • Engage with clients, ensuring strong communication.
  • Review and respond to Prime Bid RFP requests.
  • Participate in securing new projects and client interviews.
  • Assist in transitioning projects from estimating to project management.
  • Attend regular estimating meetings and job walk meetings.
  • Maintain bid tracking and lead tracking sheets.
  • Attend networking functions to grow industry relationships.
  • Facilitate communication between departments for top-notch customer service.
  • Occasional travel to Southern California projects.

Requirements:
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and Bluebeam.
  • Strong construction background.
  • Proficiency in software such as Tekla, Microsoft Project, BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, PlanGrid, and Procore.
  • Exceptional time management and deadline adherence.
  • Comfortable with client presentations and business development.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and effective as an individual and in a team.
