About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Plumbing Engineer to independently deliver plumbing engineering services from conceptual design through construction completion. You’ll lead design efforts on commercial projects, ensure code compliance, and collaborate closely with project management and field teams.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop plumbing systems (gas, waste & vent, domestic water, kitchen systems)
Perform plumbing calculations and create construction drawings
Ensure compliance with Building & Energy Codes and LEED standards
Coordinate with PMs, construction, controls, and trade partners
Support field execution and oversee junior design team members
What We’re Looking For
BS in Engineering or Construction Management
3+ years with a design/build mechanical contractor or consultant
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and building codes
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
PE license preferred
