Location: Fresno & Bakersfield, CA (Project-based, with travel between sites)
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Electrician with a valid Blue Card to join our team, specializing in conduit installation and wire pulling for commercial and industrial projects. This role involves critical work on diverse sites, including underground installations at Red Bull in Fresno and above-ground conduit work at Foodsco and Crossroads in Bakersfield. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with various conduit types, including aluminum pipe, and performing tasks in and out of trenches. While terminations will be handled by in-house journeymen, your expertise in precise conduit runs and efficient wire pulling will be paramount to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Install both underground and above-ground conduit (2 inches and smaller) with precision and adherence to code.
Perform wire pulling and running for various electrical systems, with typical runs ranging from 50-120 feet.
Work effectively and safely in and out of trenches as required by project scope.
At the Fresno Red Bull site, assist with L2 charger installations, including setting transformers, disconnects, and routing through tilt-up walls to existing service.
On Bakersfield projects, focus on running aluminum pipe.
Collaborate closely with on-site teams, including apprentices, to ensure project efficiency and quality.
Adhere strictly to all safety standards and project timelines.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Hard Requirement: Valid Electrical Journeyman License in California.
Hard Requirement: Valid Blue Card (State of California Electrical Certification).
Proven experience in running and pulling electrical conduit for commercial or industrial projects.
Demonstrated comfort and willingness to work in and out of trenches.
Strong understanding of electrical installation best practices and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (implied by conduit work).
Reliable transportation to travel between job sites in the Fresno and Bakersfield areas.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with specific brands or types of conduit beyond those mentioned.
Experience leading or mentoring apprentices on site.
