We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on creating and executing electrical designs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs while leading portions of the design process.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate electrical design teams on assigned projects
Prepare permit and construction packages (drawings, technical documents, schematics, panel schedules)
Perform equipment sizing, power studies, and required calculations
Review CAD work and ensure compliance with project scope, specifications, and standards
Conduct Comcheck/Title 24 compliance as applicable
Collaborate with field experts to develop installation details and as-built drawings
Review supplier drawings, submittals, and O&M information
Support estimating, construction, and 3D modeling efforts as needed
Develop lean engineering processes and maintain SOPs
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years’ experience in electrical power distribution & lighting design (industrial, commercial, residential)
PE license (or ability to obtain) preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM (or similar), Agi32 a plus
Strong knowledge of NEC codes and IEEE standards
Excellent communication, multitasking, and team leadership skills
