Job Description


? Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Projects
Location: On-site (Limited Hybrid Possible with Approval)
? What You’ll Do
Join our team to support project managers and clients by delivering accurate, timely cost estimates aligned with project plans and specifications.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • ? Perform takeoffs for electrical, low-voltage & control systems

  • ? Analyze drawings (architectural, mechanical, structural) to define scope

  • ? Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes

  • ? Maintain estimate records in internal systems

  • ? Assist with change orders, RFIs, and submittals

  • ? Draft clear scope letters (inclusions, exclusions, clarifications)

  • ? Participate in post-bid meetings and client communication

  • ? Help improve internal estimating tools and processes

  • ? Take part in project-specific training and assist leadership as needed
? What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years in electrical estimating (commercial/industrial sectors like EV chargers or water treatment)

  • Strong blueprint reading skills

  • Proficient in Accubid and Microsoft Office

  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented

  • Excellent communicator with great time management

Education & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management = bonus!)

  • Familiarity with NEC and standard electrical systems

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
? Work Environment

  • Office-based, with occasional visits to project sites

  • Limited hybrid work flexibility may be available with manager approval
