Job Overview:
We are hiring skilled HVAC Laborer Apprentice for a high-profile project at an Amazon Data Center in Sparks Nevada. This role involves working in a fast-paced commercial and industrial environment, installing large-scale HVAC systems with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Helping HVAC Team Install sheet metal ducting including sealing, screwing, and strapping
Helping HVAC Team to set roof curbs and install rooftop units (RTUs), makeup air units (MAUs), and exhaust fans
Communicate effectively with supervisors, GC teams, and other trades
Maintain site cleanliness and follow all safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
1-2 years of HVAC related experience in commercial or industrial settings
Must have OSHA 10 CertificationÂ
Proven experience working with helping crews with RTUs, MAUs, HVLS fans, and exhaust systems
Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
Basic tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Reliable transportation and valid ID
Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC trade school completion or apprenticeship
Experience working on Amazon or similar large-scale facilities
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and layout plans
EPA Universal Certification (a plus)
Schedule:
