  • Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
Location: Preference for Oregon or Southwest Washington; secondary preference for Arizona. Relocation considered for the right candidate.
Overview:
We are seeking a leader with a proven ability to develop and secure projects for the team. The ideal candidate will hold a PE license in Oregon and be in Oregon or Southwest Washington, with Arizona as a secondary option. Relocation may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for projects of varying complexity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project cohesion.
  • Lead and manage a team of junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
  • Participate in client design review meetings and present to customers.
  • Prepare technical specifications, sequences of operations, testing documents, and reports.
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Work closely with architects and contractors to ensure MEP systems meet project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Promote the company to external clients and build long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an independent MEP designer/engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and manage junior staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with a focus on delivering quality results.
  • Design-build experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • Has a book of business
  • Ideally have a license in OR, AZ
  • Willing to transfer license so that they can sign off on projects in a different state
